In 2009, while playing Rust on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, an option to make your own ClanTag was made available. After playing for hours and The Doc falling asleep and snoring on the mic, we came up with the idea that we should make a tag for ourselves to use when playing online with others. The only problem was we were limited to four letters, someone suggested using NSTY, that’s how we could make a statement. NSTY became the call sign and we all added it to our gamer tags. The NSTY CLAN was born.
AFRO 3AMURAI surprised the clan one night during a work meeting with custom made hoodies with our logo on the back and the NSTY gamer tag on the front. Our fellow co-workers and friends were so excited we decided to make our clan name official. Once official we started making NSTY t-shirts and the clan was officially official.
Just like every other rockstar story as clan popularity increased so did the issues. Changes happened, positions within the clan changed, we lost some members, but hese changes didn’t derail us, they made us a new improved stronger army and the NSTYARMY was born.
We came back with a vengeance stronger, faster and NSTYer! We expanded to social media and our following continued to grow with fans all over the world! Allowing us to expand our reach! We’ve created a clothing line and shipping our products world-wide!
Once upon A NSTY…
The NSTY army isn’t exclusive, we team up with entrepreneurs all over the world to make a difference. One of our favorite things to do as a team is partner with different charities (big and small) to give back to causes that are dear to us. We throw the wildest events and parties, with our very best friends!
In 2017 we took to the mic and created The Please Excuse my Potty Mouth podcast, four friends discussing everything from current events to our after-dark secrets! We love inviting guests to join us on the ‘cast showcasing their music, sharing their thoughts about hot takes happening in the world or just hanging out! Here we are now, celebrating the success and growth of something beautiful we’ve created! We are continuing to do the thing we love with the people we love! The only thing missing is YOU!
